We are looking for a Senior Commercial Lending & Investments Officer to join our team in our Launceston office. This role is integral to supporting the Commercial Lending & Investments team in managing an existing commercial loan book while driving business growth. You will play a key role in client interactions, ensuring a seamless experience across face-to-face, phone, and email communications. You’ll be responsible for processing new investment applications and redemptions and supporting client use of the Investor Portal.
You’ll assist Senior Relationship Managers by accepting and processing loan applications and drawdown requests. You’ll also support all aspects of loan settlements and portfolio management. Your expertise will contribute to the completion of reporting for management and risk committees.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have a minimum of five years’ experience in financial services, with exposure to commercial lending and managed investment schemes. You will either hold an RG146 qualification or have the capacity to obtain it. Strong client relationship skills and a proactive approach to managing portfolios will be essential. An undergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Law will be highly regarded.
