Description:
Rent A Scaffold Pty Ltd are seeking a motivated and hardworking Yard Hand to join our Scaffolding team in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a casual position that will involve assisting with the operation and maintenance of our scaffolding yard. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our scaffolding equipment is well-maintained and ready for deployment on job sites.
What You'll Be Doing
Assist with the loading, unloading, and transportation of scaffolding materials and equipment
Inspect scaffolding components for any damage or wear and tear
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning tasks on scaffolding equipment
Ensure the scaffolding yard is organised and well-maintained
Support the scaffolding crew as needed with various tasks (may include occasional on site labour assistance)
What We're Looking For
Experience in a similar labourer or yard hand role, preferably within the construction or trades industry
Applicant with a Forklift Ticket and White Card
Open Manual Drivers License
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with power tools
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
Physical fitness to handle the demands of the role
