Eurofins Agro Testing is an accredited Agricultural testing laboratory that specialises in Soil, Plant and Water testing with laboratories located in Hindmarsh South Australia, Belmont Western Australia and Burleigh Heads Queensland. Our client base includes farmers, agronomists, rural retailers and research organisations with our samples originating from all across Australia.

Job Description

  • 14 month maternity leave contract
  • 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday
  • May 19 2025 start date, with anticipated 6 week crossover training period
  • Based in Hindmarsh, South Australia

This is a 14-month, fixed term opportunity as maternity leave coverage. The role is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours Monday-Friday in various tasks relating to the accounts receivable function and supporting the broader administration team.

Responsibilities

  • Daily bank reconciliations – enter receipts against client accounts daily, investigating and resolving payment discrepancies. Management and banking of cheques as required
  • Invoicing and statements – oversee auto invoicing system as well as adhoc manual invoicing and credit management
  • Debt collection – follow up of overdue invoices by email and phone. Escalate as required
  • End of month – assist finance team with closing off each month, finalising client monthly invoices and statements, and reporting as required
  • Reporting – providing AR reports to management as required
  • Customer management – assist with account set up and credit management
  • Handling client enquiries through inbound client calls and emails
  • Reporting results and various other functions using our Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
  • Offering assistance to clients who are using our digital technology platforms
  • Offering clients guidance on test suites and sampling materials
  • Tracking client interactions using our CRM

Qualifications

  • Experience working in Accounts Receivable, generating invoices, statements and managing end of month procedures
  • Experience with both Xero and MYOB Advanced
  • Experience with Outlook and Excel
  • Be a quick learner, highly organised and able to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Authentic customer service skills to engage in ongoing client relationships
  • Courteous, professional & confident phone manner – ability to take effective messages
  • Reliable, responsible and punctual
  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge around laboratory testing
