This position requires experience in developing and implementing innovative curricula. The applicant must be prepared to work with both French and Australian curricula through a harmonised approach in content and pedagogy. It is a requirement of this position for the applicant to have a high-level language proficiency (C1 level in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is desired) in both French and English to deliver the curriculum to students in the growing French Bilingual Binational Program.

What you will do:

  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Develop and implement engaging units of inquiry tailored to the unique needs and interests of your students.
  • Participate in meaningful professional development and develop pedagogy related to student wellbeing, engagement and agency as well as curriculum implementation.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through ongoing processes and provide constructive feedback to support student achievement and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to and implement a range of communication tools to support planning and feedback to parents and students.
