About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our expanding team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in our company's growth, contributing your expertise in cost estimation and project analysis.

Permanent, Monday to Friday office-based role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your extensive Civil estimating background to contribute directly to major projects and complex tenders.
- Estimating, including quantity take-offs, cost analysis, value engineering, risk assessments, bid preparation, & documentation.
- Carry out, oversee, and manage tender responses, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor cost changes and track key financial metrics throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in estimating civil construction and earthworks from first principles (5+ years preferred);
- Competent in first principles estimating
- Knowledge of civil construction estimating preferably in utilities.
- Experience working for a Tier 1 / Tier 2 construction contractor.
- An extensive network of contacts across Australia.
- Experience with Expert Estimation estimating software package; (preferred not essential)
- Experience preparing construction programs using Microsoft Project (or Primavera 6). (MS Project and P6 preferred but not essential)
- Must have had exposure to Civil, Water, Utilities, and or Gas background
