Your new role:

As a key finance team member, the Financial Accountant will provide broad accounting support for several Guild Group corporate entities and investment trusts, including Guild Group Holdings Limited, and Gold Cross Products & Services Pty Ltd. These companies span different industries providing broad exposure.

The role will have the following accountabilities:

  • Manage financial accounting for both corporate and fund entities, including preparation of monthly Profit and Loss statements with commentary.
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and assist with financial insights, business forecasts, and Annual Budgets.
  • Oversee financial matters related to Guild Group's offshore staff division.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial reports for multiple entities and board papers as needed.
  • Support finance-related operational tasks such as invoicing, authorizing payments, and managing tax lodgement processes (BAS).

About you:

  • The duties and the remuneration would likely suit someone with about 3-5 years post grad financial accounting work experience
  • You have achieved or are working towards your CA/CPA
  • It would be AMAZING if you have had some fund accounting experience as would financial services (not essential)
