The role
Crown Melbourne is thrilled to announce the opening of 88 Noodle, a vibrant dining destination that promises to tantalise your taste buds with the finest Southeast Asian and Northern Chinese cuisine. Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in managing the overall kitchen operations. Your expertise and leadership will ensure that every dish meets our high standards of excellence.
About you
You'll bring the following:
- Experienced in a similar role, ideally in a premium Southeast Asian or Northern Chinese venue.
- Knowledgeable in Asian cuisine, including influences from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
- Effective leadership skills including ability to train and mentor your team
- Demonstrated exceptional organisational, time management & delegation skills
- Strong business acumen to assist in the monitoring of food and labour costs
- Ability to maintain high and consistent food standards
- Attractive hourly rate with weekend penalty rates, superannuation on top
