About the role:
Within Invest SA, the South Australian Health Consortium Project is a multi-stakeholder collaboration between industry, government and academia to establish a world-first community-led approach to enabling healthcare innovation. As the Project Officer, you will directly support the delivery of two critical phases of consultation and planning for the project. The role will be responsible for providing administrative and project support services to the Health Consortium Project Director, ensure effective stakeholder participation and manage practical requirements.
You will also support the Health Consortium Project Management Team across several interrelated project work streams, bringing together contributions from a wide range of subject matter experts, stakeholders and working groups. You will ensure project scheduling, alignment and collaboration is maintained and progressed in a timely manner.
More specifically, you will:
- Schedule meetings, organise workshops and visitor programs to support the Project Director, the Project Management Team and Project Delivery Working Group
- Manage practical arrangements for the project, working with senior industry and government executives, their offices, subject matter experts, as well as a wide range of stakeholders.
- Deliver project and workstream administration, including documentation, reports, contracts, analysis, agenda, minutes, budgets and briefings
- Understand and respond to stakeholder priorities and concerns, and work with the Project Director to manage planning and delivery activities
Key Competencies:
To apply and succeed in the role, you will be able to demonstrate experience in and an understanding of:
- Project management practices, including administrative processes.
- Coordinating projects including planning, monitoring, identifying risks, developing contingencies, estimating costs, consulting and communicating with stakeholders and undertaking procurement activities.
- High level administrative and executive support and coordinating government decision making protocols and processes.
- Establishing effective working relationships, including coordinating and influencing others to achieve time critical work to meet objectives.
You will also have:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, including exceptional grammar and proofreading skills
- The ability to build effective relationships and networks to achieve shared objectives.
- The ability to work under limited direction, either independently or as a member of a team, determine priorities, and set and meet deadlines.
Remuneration:
Competitive salary $98,478 to $104,165 pa plus superannuation

Qualifications:
- Essential : Nil
- Desirable : project management, information management; public sector administration and/or relevant industry experience
Special Conditions:
- The role will be offered as a full-time (37.5 hours per week), 6-month contract position.
- A Satisfactory Department of Human Services Criminal History Check or National Police Check (NPC) will be required prior to employment.
