Description:
- Lead and engage the payroll, transactional service and procurement teams (20+ FTE), ensuring that all team members are adequately mentored and coached and provided with opportunities to enhance and update their knowledge and skills.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and controls within finance operations.
- Contribute to projects as subject matter expert (SME).
- Provide excellent levels of service to all stakeholders, ensuring that pay related and invoice queries are dealt with in a timely and responsible manner.
- Ensure the month end process is performed accurately and on time.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Modern Awards, National Employment Standards, superannuation and tax legislation.

Requirements:
- CA/CPA beneficial but by no means a prerequisite
- Strong background in the management of key financial processes, including invoicing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
- A strong collaborative approach, able to take initiative and build rapport quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong People Leader who can drive results and process improvement through others.
