Our client is a global fintech that has been disrupting the market for years with its innovative BNPL solution for facilitating purchases between retail consumers and businesses. They create seamless transactions for over 16 million (and growing) customers worldwide.
With a background in paid & offline media, you will oversee media planning and buying across multiple channels, using data-driven insights to drive customer growth and engagement.
- The role may extend, convert to FTE, or other opportunities may present themselves

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a paid media strategy aligned with Afterpay's growth and brand objectives.
- Manage media planning and buying across Social, Video, TV, OOH, Paid Search, Programmatic, and more.
- Use first-party data and audience insights to optimise campaign performance.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a seamless omnichannel approach.
- Identify new media technologies and trends to enhance effectiveness.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop high-performing content.
- Lead media investment decisions, ensuring budgets deliver strong ROI.
- Work closely with analytics teams to track performance and refine strategies.
- Build strong relationships with agencies and key media partners.
- Advise senior stakeholders and lead a high-performing media team.
About You
- 10+ years' experience in media planning & buying, with a strong ANZ track record.
- Proven success managing large budgets efficiently.
- Expertise in digital, data-led media strategies and performance marketing.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor teams and influence stakeholders.
- Passionate about innovation, media trends, and digital transformation.
