We are currently seeking applications for a Customer Service Officer to join Shared Services SA Business Systems at The Department of Treasury & Finance, for an initial period up to 12 months with possibility of extension. This position will be located at the Port Adelaide office.

Remuneration: ASO3 – Salary Range ($67,569 - $72,033 p.a.).

About the opportunity:

The Shared Services SA, Business Systems Service Desk, on behalf of SA Government agencies, maintains and provides support for a suite of system applications including Masterpiece, Basware, CHRIS21/HR21, ANZ Purchase Cards/EMS and SA Tenders & Contracts.

The Customer Service Officer reports to the Team Leader Business Systems Service Desk to ensure the provision of high quality first level customer support functions to clients, management and staff of Shared Services SA.

About you

You will be experienced in providing high quality support to customers through phone and email contact in areas such as issue resolution, advice in how to use systems and administration of user profiles. Have the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and clients.

Have the ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively.

The incumbent will be required to liaise with a range of staff within Shared Services SA and Agencies receiving services.

To be successful you will be:

  • Experienced in the support and maintenance of system applications including user management processes.
  • Have the ability to work independently, under limited direction.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively to meet service levels.
  • A strong understanding of Financial and HR systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a system support environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members, clients and other stakeholders.
