About the opportunity:

The Learning and Development Consultant is responsible for designing and delivering tailored learning and development programs that align with Super SA goals, conducting needs assessments, and evaluating training effectiveness. It involves managing the Learning Management System, leveraging innovative technologies, and collaborating with external providers. The position also includes coaching employees, identifying cross-training opportunities, and ensuring continuous improvement of training materials.

About you

As a Learning & Development Consultant, you'll play a vital role in helping others grow and succeed by designing impactful programs that enhance skills and knowledge. You'll provide expert guidance to shape learning initiatives that build capabilities and drive business outcomes. Your work will support Super SA staff in continuously improving their people capability and systems-related expertise, ensuring they deliver exceptional services to our members. Additionally, you'll bring your expertise to support learning elements in key projects, making a real difference in the way people work and grow.

To be successful, you must address the selection criteria below in a cover letter:

  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging and impactful learning solutions, customised to meet the needs of diverse teams and aligned with organisational goals
  • Experience in leading workshops, training sessions, and seminars, ensuring participants remain engaged and learning objectives are met.
  • Ability to assess organisational needs and skill gaps, tailoring training programs to drive performance improvement.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design, with examples of how you apply these principles to develop effective training materials.
  • Experience in measure training success, using tools like pre- and post-assessments, feedback surveys, and ROI evaluations to improve future initiatives.
  • Proven ability to manage a challenging workload and to meet set deadlines in a busy environment whilst maintaining a high-quality standard of work.
  • Experience in analysing problems and developing a range of solutions

Remuneration

ASO5 – $85,790 min - $95,413 max per annum, plus superannuation
