About us:
Central Queensland Mental Heatlh Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone, Banana, Woorabinda and Central Highlands areas (catchments in excess of a population of 250,000) with services located in each area.
Rockhampton as the principal service centre for this area provides the administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, and is the location of the acute adult inpatient facilities. In addition, there is a Adult Step Up Step Down facility located in Gladstone and a Community Care Unit located in Rockhampton.
About the role:
The Allied Health Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (MHAOD) clinical educator will enhance the development of the allied health workforce through:
- Delivering high quality evidenced based Allied Health clinical education services for allied health professions within CQMHAODS.
- Providing allied health specific training within CQMHAODS.
- Supporting the entry-level workforce to obtain minimum and desirable skills.
- Facilitating a training, mentoring and supervision strategy for allied health in CQMHAODS to guide skill development and maintenance of core competencies from pre-entry and new graduates to advanced allied health practitioners.
- Expanding the capacity of the allied health workforce to provide clinical education placements.
About you:
Hold qualifications and registration with the appropriate registration authority to practice in any of the following:
- Occupational Therapy
- Psychology
- Social Work
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $64.64 - $69.55 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
