Our client are a global leader in developing and producing responsible packaging for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, home and personal-care, and other products.

Description

What will you be doing?

  • Ensure cost of quality is actively measured and reduced over time
  • Ensure successful completion of all internal and external quality audits
  • Be an effective member of the quality control team
  • Acting as a guide to other operations team members in quality control
  • Provide training, guidance to enhance the skills and knowledge for QC
  • Prepare reports summarising quality issues
  • maintaining a current schedule and progress report of projects / work activities
  • Maintain effective compliance to systems including ISO9001:2015, FSSC 22000, HACCP and Product Safety
  • Writing and implement work instructions/SOP's
  • Maintain Quality KPI and metrics system including reporting as required
  • Undertake root cause and implement effective corrective action to address non-conformances
  • Participate site tool box meetings and Quality Leadership Tours to ensure understanding of Quality and Product Safety issues
  • Maintain, audit and ensure all quality control test equipment (on line and off line) are enabled, calibrated and functioning effectively
  • Undertake site quality control activities as defined by the Quality Manager
  • Undertake site audits of production and processes to identify areas for improvement

Profile

A bit about you...

  • Experience within manufacturing is desirable
  • Two years in a similar position
  • Understanding and experience in quality management systems and auditing
  • Understanding and experience in quality management systems and auditing
  • Bachelor degree or higher in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemistry or Material Science from an accredited university. (preferred)
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Result driven
  • Able to clearly and concisely communicate process, system or product improvements
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Clear, systematic and concise report writing skills
