People Services – The Payroll Services and Workforce Data team within PSCC consists of Payroll Operations, Rostering Operations, Workforce Data Reporting, and HR Systems. This team is responsible for delivering exceptional payroll services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. This includes managing intricate processes of employee rostering, maintaining the integrity of HR systems, and generating insightful reports to assist with workforce planning and governance.
About the Role:
Rostering Operations is a centralised team within the People, Safety, Culture and Communications business unit. The team provides on-site support across multiple Corrections Victoria locations that utilise TimeTarget.
The role of an Officer, Rostering Operations:
- Maintains daily authorisations, backfills, and manages employee data in TimeTarget.
- Responds to the Rostering needs of Operational/Custodial staff who use TimeTarget at their respective location.
- Ensures the effective rostering and deployment of staff at their respective location and to support operations.
Officers operate on a rotating 14-day roster, which involves weekend and public holiday work, remunerated in accordance with the applicable provisions of the 2024 VPS Enterprise Agreement.
About You:
As an ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Knowledge and experience in rostering, human resource services and/or payroll within complex custodial environments is highly desirable.
- Experience and proficiency in the use of TimeTarget, Chris21 and/ or other rostering and payroll systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret and provide advice on departmental policies and, enterprise awards and agreements is highly desirable.
