Purchasing Officer

Description:

If you are an experienced Logistics / Purchasing officer seeking an immediate start for a 6 month contract please get in touch today. Work with a great team who focus in the renewables space.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include

• Review material requirements and raise purchase orders where required;
• Reporting any changes to purchase orders that may have an impact on the business;
• Coordinate supply chain, monitor and review storage and inventory systems, control stock levels, and track all movements of supplies and finished goods to ensure delivery expectations are met;
• Pricing focused on enabling the company to identify key opportunities for savings;
• Identify areas where you can drive opportunities for process improvement;
• In conjunction with the Supply and Sourcing Manager, negotiate contract specifics including pricing and ensure the requirements of the contract are clearly documented;
• Manage third-party suppliers and identify areas for Continuous Improvements; and
• Work with wider teams to hit strategic procurement goals that are set
