Band 3 - $68,797 - $72,444 (Includes allowances) plus 11.5% statutory superannuation


Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping sports fields in great condition? We are looking for a Sports Turf Officer to join our team and help maintain high-quality playing surfaces.

About the Role

As a Sports Turf Officer, your main job will be to care for sports fields and ensure they are in the best possible condition.

This includes:

  • Keeping the grass healthy with proper watering, fertilizing, and aeration
  • Managing weeds, pests, and turf diseases
  • Operating and looking after equipment like mowers, tractors, and loaders
  • Helping with general gardening and maintenance work

You will also be responsible for using machinery safely and working efficiently to keep the grounds looking their best.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (or similar experience)
  • Experience in sports field maintenance, including mowing, irrigation, and turf repair
  • Ability to operate and maintain turf maintenance equipment safely
  • Knowledge of safe work practices, including OH&S regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
