About the Role:
This is an exciting, hands-on leadership role where you will:Lead tax compliance and advisory services for SME clients across various industries.Provide strategic insights and solutions for clients’ financial and operational challenges.Mentor and manage a team of 10, fostering growth and collaboration.Engage directly with clients, building long-term, trusted relationships.Contribute to strategic decision-making and business planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice on complex tax matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Lead tax planning, management reporting, budgeting, and other business advisory projects.Oversee and grow a portfolio of SME clients, building strong, long-term relationships.Train, mentor, and lead a team of 10 to foster growth and maintain a positive team culture.Manage workflows to ensure timely and accurate service delivery while meeting client expectations.
Requirements:
CPA or CA qualification.7+ years of experience in Australian public practice.5+ years of leadership experience, including managing and mentoring teams.Advanced skills in Xero and Microsoft Excel.Exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills.
