About The School
Coomera State Special School supports learners across years Prep to Year 12 in the growing area of Coomera. The Human Resources officer will be a warm, dedicated and passionate person who is willing to contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing relevant and timely administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager. As a member of the administration team of a school that places students at the centre of all decisions, they will be required to interact with students and families on a daily basis, and therefore be required to have strong relational skills and possess highly effective communication skills.

It would be an advantage if the successful applicant possesses experience in supporting human resource processes within a school environment, and has a working knowledge of One School and current IT systems with the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the school's policies and procedures.
About The Role
In addition to performing a variety of day-to-day human resource, administrative and support services, the person in the Human Resources Officer position would also carry out the following roles:
- Return to Work Coordinator
- Support Workplace Health and Safety processes for all staff and students
- Absence/playground duty scheduling each morning for staff
