Join a dedicated team within the Queensland Treasury's Gas and Sustainable Fuels Division. As a Senior Project Officer, you will have the opportunity to influence the integration of natural and sustainable gases in the state's final energy demand and transition to net zero.
In This Role, You Will
- Engage proactively with stakeholders, offering tailored insights and strategies.
- Leverage data to identify risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
- Provide valuable input to whole-of-department considerations regarding natural and sustainable gases.
- Develop concise, informative presentations, briefings, and reports.
- Contribute to strategy development and implementation within the division.
- Collaborate across government agencies to achieve desired outcomes.
- A technical background in natural and sustainable gases.
- Understanding of policy frameworks in the energy sector.
- Proven analytical skills, particularly in developing data-driven insights.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and proactively respond to stakeholder expectations.
- Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team.
