Front office reception, guest services role at a fantastic Holiday/Lifestyle Park.
We are an excellent team with strong management seeking an outgoing, guest-focused team member.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Your role will be in the front office area with your main responsibility to deliver a great guest and resident experience.
- You will be the “face of the park” and create a positive impression for our customers through the guest reservation process, check-in and guest stay. You will also manage the financial aspect of accommodation bookings, tracking and reporting revenue figures and encouraging return bookings.
- This role involves interacting continually with customers and maintaining strong engagement with a positive, professional and friendly approach at all times.
- Responding to guest enquiries and requests for information via a variety of mediums, including face-to-face, via telephone, via email, and via website requests.
- The role may also include an 'on call' 'after hours' call out component for two evenings a week and candidates will need to either stay on site or reside in proximity for any after hours call out items.
- Actively supporting any sales and marketing programs and activities.
- There will be a significant financial portion to the role from handling payments to managing the daily banking process and various other accounts, invoice processing and support functions to the Park Manager.
- Working with the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to ensure all rooms are turned around quickly and maintenance items are identified and attended to as soon as possible.
- There will be a cleaning component to the role, depending on occupancy levels and cleaner rostering, and on quieter days there will be a requirement to strip and or clean short stay accommodation. There is an ability to increase total hours by combining the role with additional cleaner only shifts.
Your Skills & Experience
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Experience working within an accommodation-based business in a reception or front office capacity, managing reservations
- Highly competent using RMS 9.0+ or similar reservations management systems
- Strong customer-centric approach to business
- Competent using computer systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Police Clearance
- Attention to detail, flexible and reliable
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a people/community focus mind
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $23.23 – $26.52 per hour
