About the role
In this Permanent Full-time role, the Maintenance Supervisor will manage team members within the road and drainage maintenance program. You will undertake contract management tasks for the management teams in the delivery of corporate responsibilities.
Your position is responsible for the supervision of field-based staff under their area of control with an emphasis on behaviour and performance. You will have strong communication skills and be able to build collaborative and respectful relationships with stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications
- Possession of a General Safety Induction Card (Construction Industry) White Card (required).
- Minimum of a current Australian "C" class driver's licence (required).
- Experience supervising and labouring on road and drainage construction projects and having the ability to cope with physical labour (desirable).
- Applicants must undergo a pre-employment functional assessment and be assessed as being able to meet the functional requirements of the position.
- Progression or appointment to Level 5 requires Tertiary qualification in civil construction or a related field, minimum Level IV or associate degree in Civil Engineer, or extensive experience in supervising road and drainage construction projects.
