Your Role: Repair and Logistics Coordinator
An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Repair and Logistics Coordinator to join the Scylla Repair and Logistics Team, working on the Collins Class Submarines. As a Repair and Logistics Coordinator in this team, you’ll work closely with the Project Team, General Assembly, Engineering, Quality, and other teams within Safety and Operations.
Your primary focus will be to execute maintenance services and activities whilst controlling all logistics aspects of repairs and other minor projects.
This is a permanent opportunity based onsite in Rydalmere, NSW.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise and manage repair orders for Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs).
- Work closely with repair centre technicians to deliver repairs and minor projects in line with delivery agreed timelines and budget.
- Coordinate and track flow of all repairs utilising Reptrac and other visual systems in compliance with project priorities and dates.
- Accurate and timely reporting of receipts and inventory movement in the Thales and Commonwealth inventory management systems.
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager in providing routine reports on repair statuses.
- Develop and repair refurbishment quotations
- Create and maintain repair folders, quality documentation and work packs containing relevant processes.
On day one you will come with:
- Australian Citizenship as there will be a need to obtain Defence clearance
- Forklift licence.
- 5 + years’ experience in supply chain & logistics working within a similar capacity
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Previous experience working within a defence industry environment is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and support multiple repairs and refurbishment tasks.
