About the role

Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to provide clinical care under supervision (both direct and indirect) and acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfy relevant specialist college and medical board requirements needed to practice as a specialist.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • To develop clinical efficiency through patient management and pathways.
  • Improve autonomous operating ability.
  • To be involved in educational and supervisory services to the junior ophthalmology registrars, residents as well as medical students.
  • Maintain the process of clinical cataract audit.
