Description:

  • Manage all stages of the project together with the Internal Communication Manager, intranet provider and key internal stakeholders, including delivering on a comprehensive project plan to ensure essential outputs and outcomes are achieved
  • Ensure content on the new intranet is purposeful, accurate, clear, relevant and well presented, including overseeing an audit, migration and the production of new content as needed.
  • Contribute to the implementation of a content strategy and governance framework for the intranet platform, including relevant policies, processes and/or guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of communications objectives.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with internal stakeholders throughout the project lifespan to understand and address user needs and priorities, and build and communicate a strong shared understanding of the new platform.
  • Work closely with the intranet provider to represent and champion the needs, priorities and requirements of the organisation.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years' experience managing end-to-end projects on intranet or website platforms, or other similar software.
  • Significant external stakeholder management experience, including working in partnership with suppliers, agencies or vendors and representing the needs of an organisation.
  • A high standard of written and verbal communication skills (including grammar, punctuation, and style) and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with accessible intranet or internet platforms that comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and an understanding of best practice in digital accessibility.
  • Excellent project management skills, including a proven ability to develop and deliver on project plans, meet deadlines, facilitate approval processes and manage budget.
  • Experience working with a range of content management systems (experience with SharePoint and/or Umbraco preferred).
  • Experience working with large amounts of content, including content management and production, and an understanding of effective authoring/publishing models.
  • Experience developing and/or implementing governance frameworks for digital platforms to clearly define roles and responsibilities, including relevant policies and/or procedures.
  • Significant internal stakeholder management experience, including the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and balance the needs of the business, preferably gained in a large, complex organisation.
