We are seeking a Competency Management Officer to join our team.

Reporting to the Rail Commissioner Learning and Development Manager (RTO CEO), the Competency Management Officer, is responsible for developing, reviewing and updating competency matrices for all rail safety workers and roles supporting the Adelaide Metropolitan Passenger Rail Network (AMPRN). This role regularly reviews and undertakes audits of compliance against the set matrices, including external service providers accessing the Rail Network.

The development of the Competency Matrices framework will inform the creation of role specific training plans, training design and Rail Industry Worker (RIW) card business rules. Regular stakeholder engagement and ongoing research of industry standards is critical to the success of this role.

Qualifications/Experience
Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Relevant rail industry experience.

Practical knowledge of the Rail Industry Work Card system.

Demonstrated application of risk-based training needs analyses and competency frameworks.

Special Conditions
A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.

Remuneration
ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 pa + superannuation.
