About this Position
At Beyond Blue, the Data & Insights function plays a pivotal role in transforming data into strategic insights that drive impactful change. We aim to improve mental health outcomes for all Australians by helping people feel better sooner, get well, and stay well.
As the Insights and Segmentation Lead, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, spearheading the integration of cutting-edge technology, deep community insights, and a human-centered design approach. Leveraging the Digital Evolution Programme (DEP), you'll uncover advanced customer segmentation and behavioural insights that fuel transformative initiatives.
Your work will empower Beyond Blue's teams to design relevant services and programs, and to craft innovative, data-driven campaigns and content that inspire attitudinal and behavioural changes in our target audience.

The role
The key duties of the role include:
Segmentation and Insights
- Lead segmentation, taxonomy, and insights using best evidence.
- Utilise data to refine user acquisition, retention, and lifecycle strategies.
- Analyse behaviours, trends, and data quality improvements.
- Define segmentation criteria and validate insights with predictive analytics.
- Align taxonomies with data architects and research teams.
- Support key stakeholders with segmentation insights.
- Create actionable reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal customers and stakeholders to drive action.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, testing, and innovation.
- Set KPIs to evaluate ROI and measure total economic impact.
- Utilise design thinking, human-centered design, and agile processes.
- Enhance reporting, visualisation, and trend analysis.
- Develop and manage work plans, budgets, and resource allocation.
About you
To be successful you will hold a:
- Seasoned experience influencing stakeholders and customers to take action based on evidence aligned to strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Senior experience in, segmentation, advanced data analytics, visualising data, digital marketing and actionable insights
- Proficiency in CRM systems, analytic platforms, Python, SQL, Power BI or equivalent languages for data analysis desirable.
- Proven ability to deliver complex projects, drive change, collaboration cross-functionally, and adherence to deadlines and budgets.
- Driven by continual improvement, with experience enhancing performance and results through innovative approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and customer-focused attitude.
