About the team & about the role
The Property, Stakeholder, and Transformation division manages a diverse portfolio of assets across the Sydney Airport precinct. Their core mission is to provide exceptional service to tenants while ensuring operational excellence across the portfolio. The team is driven by a culture of collaboration, delivering customer-centric solutions, and fostering innovation to support the evolving needs of both the tenants and the business.
We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Property Manager / Property Manager to support the Property Management team at Sydney Airport. Reporting to the Senior Property Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining smooth property operations, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring compliance with lease obligations. You will be handling various administrative and operational tasks and have the opportunity to contribute to both strategic and on-the-ground property management.
Please note this is a 12 - 15 month fixed term contract.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to
- Act as the first point of contact for tenant enquiries, managing operational issues and escalating where needed.
- Oversee day-to-day property tenancy operations, with a focus on safety, risk management, and compliance.
- Take ownership of administrative tasks, including managing tenant databases, issuing purchase orders, and distributing communications.
- Conduct tenancy audits to ensure lease compliance, focusing on safety and presentation standards.
- Coordinate tenant onboarding and exit processes, including condition assessments.
- Collaborate closely with the Facilities Management team to resolve tenant maintenance issues efficiently.
- Manage the approval process for minor tenant fit outs and ensure compliance with relevant permits and contractor guidelines.
We are looking for a proactive individual with an inherent passion for service and for learning along witha focus on delivering exceptional tenant experiences. You will ideally have:
- A degree in Property, Economics, Businessor a related field.
- Experienceworking for a landlord in a similar capacity, or within a real-estate agency on a corporate account
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with tenants and internal teams.
- Proven experience in administrative capacity in a corporate environment
- A solid understanding of property admin/operations, with a focus on compliance and safety.
