In this newly created role, you will operationalise human-centred design principles to re-imagine employee and customer experiences across a range of initiatives aligned with our Thriving Communities strategic vision.

- Flexible working arrangements available, including the opportunity to work from home. We work a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
Reporting to our Program Director – Thriving Communities, your key focus will be to bring design thinking and agile business transformation practices to life. You'll work collaboratively to deeply understand customer needs, co-create solutions, and drive positive change.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to co-design care and service delivery solutions that are desirable, feasible and sustainable.
- Apply design thinking methodologies to uncover customer and employee insights.
- Develop personas and journey maps to guide thoughtful design decisions.
- Use diverse research methods including interviews, surveys and analytics to validate ideas and shape experiences.
- Facilitate agile business transformation conducting sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives to keep initiatives on track.
- Clearly articulate insights and design concepts, influencing key stakeholders with confidence.
We’re looking for a creative, empathetic, and collaborative design thinker who thrives on solving complex challenges and driving meaningful change.
You will bring:
- Experience in design thinking and human-centred design methodologies within customer experience design, service design, or similar roles.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Design, Service Design, or related fields.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and practices e.g. sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to present and articulate insights and design concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Lean CX projects will be highly regarded.
