Everton Park State School is seeking an experienced Head of Department (Curriculum) with deep knowledge and understanding of the Australian Curriculum Version 9. We are particularly looking for someone to drive changes around the new approaches to reading. Additionally, the successful applicant will oversee the management and maintenance of resources in the school library. This is a temporary full-time position commencing 14 July 2025 until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.About Us

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling especially in relation to students and staffwithin the school department.
- Manage the human, financial, facilities and curriculum resources of the curriculum areas or whole school programto achieve goals.
- Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a sharededucational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
