A vacancy exists for a highly motivated Head of Department, Student Engagement to join the senior leadership team at Kingston State School on a temporary full-time basis, for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise determined.Within This Role You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and engagement;
- Monitor students’ individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary.

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership and guidance for the implementation of innovative measures aimed at improving student learning outcomes and attendance in schools where a significant percentage of students may have a disadvantaged background, ensuring quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Where requested, prepare all data returns for senior management.
- Monitor students' individual performance and behaviour and develop and implement intervention strategies where necessary.
- Communicate and work with parents, higher education institutes and State Schools Division to improve learning outcomes, student achievements and attendance.
- Work with, and provide tools for, the regional executive team and teachers to utilise in relation to student achievement and attendance.
