Child Health located at Kirwan Community Campus is seeking two experienced and client focused Patient Services Officers to join their team for part-time roles, each working 38 hours per fortnight.These hours will allow a great work/life balance.
The role works collaboratively as a member of a team and provides quality support to deliver a high standard of organisational and patient-focused outcomes.
Townsville Hospital and Health Service , is the public healthcare provider for the government areas of Townsville, Burdekin, Charters Towers, Flinders, Richmond, Hinchinbrook and Palm Island. We operate 21 facilities from primary care in regional locations to highly specialised care at the main hospital.

Position: Patient Services Officers
Vacancy: Permanent part-time, 38 hours per fortnight (2 positions available)
Location: Child Health, Women's and Children's Service Group, Kirwan Community Campus
This role delivers exceptional person-centred customer service to patients, their families, and the public.
The role works collaboratively as a member of a team and provides quality support to deliver a high standard of organisational and patient-focused outcomes.

- Salary range: $38.81 to $43.16 p.h. (AO3)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading

Requirements:
- Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): Health Care Workers in Queensland Health whose occupation poses a potential risk of exposure to blood or body fluids are required to provide evidence of vaccinations or proof that they are not susceptible (due to prior exposure to the disease and therefore have natural immunity) to the following VPD's Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella and Pertussis (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis containing vaccine) according to the Queensland Health Policy.
