Town & Surrounds
To undertake a range of plant operation and labouring duties to enable delivery of the following Town and Surrounds programs within Wallumbilla, Yuleba and Jackson according to the service level priorities and budget approved by Council:
- Maintenance of open spaces, parks and gardens, including mowing, weed control /spraying, irrigation, landscaping and pruning
- Slashing, whipper snipping and weed control including town entrance ways and Cemetery
- Waste management facilities
- Assistance with water meter reading and provide labour assistance to plumber as required to maintain local water operations

Maintain and clean culverts, gutters, drains and streets
Mandatory and Highly Desirable Qualifications and Licences:
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate that you will be able to meet the below mandatory requirements for the role:
- Current LR (Light Rigid) Class Driver Licence
- General Construction Induction (White) Card
- Experience in plant operations, horticulture and/or local government
Position Details:
- Position based in Yuleba QLD
- Full-time position - 38 hours per week
- Maranoa Regional Council Certified Agreement 2023 - Stream B - Level 4-5
