Description:
Golf Course Technicians and Engineering are looking for a motivated and experienced mechanic to join their team. GCTE has golf course and sports club clients on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, however, the current position is for our Gold Coast region. We take pride in providing excellent service to our clients, servicing and repairing a range of turf and specialised golf course machinery.
The successful applicant would ideally be a qualified diesel mechanic or possess a Certificate 3 in Mobile Plant Technology. They should have petrol and diesel small engine experience, as well as hydraulic systems and auto electrical knowledge. They should also be confident in diagnosing a broad range of mechanical issues. Although, not essential, knowledge of golf course equipment and turf experience would be highly regarded.

Possess a current Manual Driver’s Licence and have own transport (although business service vehicle will be available for use between various sites)

Although the position is casual, there is potential to increase hours for the right candidate. Please advise of your availability in your application. Uniforms will be supplied and an attractive hourly rate will be offered, commensurate with experience.
