About the role

We’re looking for a highly capable Customer Service Officer to be the first point of contact for the City Rangers Unit - a fast-paced, dynamic role that deals directly with complaints, incidents, and real-time operational support.


This isn’t your typical customer service job. You’ll be the go-to person behind the scenes, managing critical communications and keeping everything running smoothly for our Rangers out in the field.


Key responsibilities include:
• delivering high-quality customer service with professionalism and courtesy
• handling and resolving a high volume of incidents, radio transmissions, and customer complaints with speed and professionalism
• identifying complaint trends and escalating emerging issues to relevant stakeholders
• accurately logging, allocating, and following up on service requests and field issues
• coordinating Ranger fleet records, vehicle incidents, and maintenance
• maintaining clear records for compliance and potential evidence purposes.

We're looking for someone with:
• a qualification in Administration
• proven experience in a fast-paced call centre or customer service environment
• exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
• strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive or urgent matters under pressure
• availability to work shifts across a 7-day roster
• certificate IV in Government Investigations, or willingness to obtain within 12 months is desirable.
