Overview:

The Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Oliverbirch office in Bendigo. This encompasses a range of responsibilities, from financial and order management to payroll and general administration across our two stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Administration: Processing daily transactions (reconciliation, XERO data entry, banking), managing accounts payable (bill entry, payments, remittances), and handling invoice management using DEXT and XERO.

  • Order and Stock Management: Processing and coordinating furniture orders, managing the order process from supplier confirmations to customer communication, receiving and processing stock deliveries, and liaising with the warehouse team

  • Payroll & Wages: Managing the payroll process for Bendigo and Melbourne staff and handling ATO payroll submissions

  • General Administration: Daily till management, email correspondence, and maintaining organized filing systems

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, with strong emphasis on the responsibilities outlined above.

  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong numeracy skills and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.

  • Proficiency in XERO and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent communication and people skills, with a focus on providing outstanding support to both customers and the team.

  • A proactive and problem-solving approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of our fun, social team.

  • Retail experience is desirable but not essential.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, based in our Bendigo office.
