Overview:
The Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Oliverbirch office in Bendigo. This encompasses a range of responsibilities, from financial and order management to payroll and general administration across our two stores.
Responsibilities:

Financial Administration: Processing daily transactions (reconciliation, XERO data entry, banking), managing accounts payable (bill entry, payments, remittances), and handling invoice management using DEXT and XERO.

Order and Stock Management: Processing and coordinating furniture orders, managing the order process from supplier confirmations to customer communication, receiving and processing stock deliveries, and liaising with the warehouse team

Payroll & Wages: Managing the payroll process for Bendigo and Melbourne staff and handling ATO payroll submissions

General Administration: Daily till management, email correspondence, and maintaining organized filing systems
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in an administrative role, with strong emphasis on the responsibilities outlined above.

Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong numeracy skills and a high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping.

Proficiency in XERO and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and people skills, with a focus on providing outstanding support to both customers and the team.

A proactive and problem-solving approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of our fun, social team.

Retail experience is desirable but not essential.
