About the role
Wind Turbine Technician – Hallett and Hallett Hill Wind Farm
Electrical OR Mechanical Trade qualification.
Role Overview:
AGL is seeking a qualified Wind Turbine Technician to join our team at the Hallett and Hallett Hill Wind Farm in South Australia. This role offers competitive remuneration, relocation assistance, comprehensive employee benefits, energy discounts, and an attractive roster.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Perform routine and breakdown maintenance, servicing, inspection, and monitoring of wind farm assets.
-
Prepare work records and reports, including data entry into SAP.
-
Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment systems, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and standards.

Supervise service providers and contractors to ensure work is conducted safely and to appropriate standards.

Provide and receive on-the-job training, including mentoring employees to maintain high skill levels and safety standards.
Qualifications, Key Skills, and Experience Required:
-
Electrical OR Mechanical Trade qualification.
-
Understanding of wind farm operations and maintenance OR heavy industry on-site experience.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective liaison at all levels.

Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
-
Experience with HV/LV systems, hydraulics, and mechanical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments.
-
Willingness to work at heights and in confined environments.
