Your new company
A leading international energy advisor and trader across the electricity and gas markets in Australia and has three core elements to its business:
- Outsourced operational services to operate in the NEM;
- Advice on energy procurement, entry strategies and renewables PPA’s;
- Risk advisory: generator outage products, risk transfer, synthetic firming products for renewable developments.
Take a leading role in the ongoing development of energy trading software, particularly the algorithms for the optimization and automatic trading of batteries and renewable generation for the Australian National Electricity Market.
Your new role
Provide input into the design, development and configuration of software and trading solutions through research, analysis, design and modelling. You will also contribute to marketing and sales.
Who you are
You have tertiary qualifications in science (maths or physics) or engineering and have a background in trading environments – preferably the NEM. You have experience in BESS and or energy trading.
This position will play a critical role in the ongoing growth of an Australian international software and services company with a significant global presence that is leading the way in the renewable energy revolution.
