Limonta Sport Australia Pty Ltd
Gawler Full-day Full-time

Description:

Limonta Sport Australia Pty Ltd is a leading specialist in the supply and installation of high-performance synthetic sports surfaces. We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Floor Finisher to join our expanding team in a permanent, full-time position. This role is focused on the preparation and finishing of sports flooring, including the installation of synthetic turf systems across sporting fields, recreational facilities, and commercial environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project sites, preparing base surfaces, and delivering precision installations that meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and visual quality.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Calculating surface dimensions, layout requirements, and precise material quantities for synthetic turf and other sports flooring systems.

• Preparing installation areas by grading and compacting sub-bases, removing existing surface elements, and ensuring a clean, level foundation for turf or floor coverings.

• Cutting and fitting underlay materials such as shock pads, drainage mats, or foam layers to meet sport-specific performance standards and enhance durability.

• Installing synthetic turf systems with precision—aligning seams, contouring around fixed features, and trimming edges for a professional finish that meets both performance and aesthetic requirements.

• Applying adhesives or mechanical fastening methods to securely fix flooring materials and edge trims, ensuring stability and seamless transitions across playing surfaces.

• Joining turf panels using approved seam tapes or glue systems, followed by brushing in infill materials (e.g., sand, rubber granules) to support turf fibres and optimize surface playability.

• Installing or maintaining other sports floor finishes, including rubber or resin-based surfaces, and conducting polishing or sealing work where required.

• Performing finishing tasks such as line marking, detailing, or applying coatings to meet sport-specific regulations and enhance surface performance and visual clarity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in flooring installation or a related field.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong communication skills in English.

• Knowledge of health and safety practices in the workplace.

Benefits:

• Competitive annual salary plus superannuation.

• Opportunities for growth and professional development.

• Work in a friendly and supportive team environment.
