We're Yura Yungi Medical Service Aboriginal Corporation (YYMS), an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. Our purpose includes providing comprehensive primary health care services to the Aboriginal populations and others in and around Halls Creek. The service provides primary health care clinical services and population health programs in Halls Creek and at the outlying Ringer's Soak community.

About the Opportunity
Yura Yungi Medical Service (YYMS) is looking for a full-time Clinical & Quality Manager , based in Halls Creek, WA .
This is the sole management role within the residential aged care facility, reporting directly to the executive team at YYMS. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance, quality standards, clinical oversight, staff management, and operational leadership across all functions of the facility.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Overseeing daily operations across all departments including clinical, kitchen, housekeeping, and maintenance

Leading clinical governance including incidents, care reviews, and star ratings reporting

Ensuring compliance with strengthened aged care quality standards

Managing staff performance, recruitment, and team culture

Developing and implementing quality improvement frameworks
-
Collaborating with HR for workforce planning and professional development
-
Supporting the well-being of staff members, many of whom are based in remote staff accommodations

Managing procurement and budgeting for the facility
About You
To qualify, you will need to be a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration . A minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing an aged care or similar healthcare facility is essential, alongside strong familiarity with the aged care quality standards.
Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

Experience working in remote Aboriginal communities

HR or performance management background

Strong understanding of compliance, documentation, and reporting

Multidisciplinary leadership capability across clinical and non-clinical teams
