About the role and where you will be working:

Germanus Kent House (Broome, WA) was built in 2008 and has all the features of a modern, state of the art facility. We can support up to 55 residents and are conveniently located close to the shops, chemist, bank, local medical centre & hospital.
You’ll be part of a dedicated and close-knit team that provides tailored care that can be adjusted to meet our clients’ changing needs.
As a valued team member, and leader, you’ll be drawing upon your clinical knowledge to ensure that our residents receive the best clinical care from nursing and care staff.

We’ll also be asking you to:-

  • Support, coordinate and mentor a small team of nurses & health care workers.
  • Provide clinical leadership, assess & develop capability of nursing staff.
  • Coordinate & oversee admissions, and clinical documentation.
  • Prepare budgets & support cost control initiatives.
  • Participate in quality improvement programs. Review & update relevant policies / procedures.
  • Consult with SCC WA clinical leads & external medical practitioners to ensure best outcomes for our clients.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Confidence to act in Facility Manager role as required.
  • Proven track record in leading & driving quality clinical outcomes.
  • The ability to maximise funding via AN-ACC
  • Well-developed reporting & research skills.
  • A recognised Infection Control qualification
