Our Finance team are a pivotal part of the organisation and work closely to provide both our teams with financial support with transactional finance, budgets, planning and analysis.

Your Role in Our Future
With the support of the Finance Manager and wider team, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience across all aspects of the accounting & finance function whilst also providing the wider finance team with administrative and clerical support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to advance their finance career in a varied and collaborative role.
Some of your duties will include;
- Assist the Finance Manager with month-end processing.
- Process AP and AR related journal entries including monthly accrued income and income in advance related journals.
- Liaise with department managers regarding financial aspects of various overhead cost centres and provide assistance where required.
- Monthly processing of PAYG and quarterly BAS and produce reports and reconciliation for Finance Managers’ review and submission to the ATO.
- Adding new projects with associated details into the finance system, ensuring reporting user fields are populated appropriately.
Conveniently located on Hampden Road in Nedlands, this role will be offered on a full-time basis for 2 years in the first instance with a high chance of extension.
Your Experience
The successful applicant will be passionate about advancing their finance career with a medium sized, values driven not for profit organisation and be able to demonstrate a solutions focused, service driven approach to accountancy and finance.
The key to your success will also be your ability to demonstrate the following;
- Bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance.
- CA/CPA qualified or actively studying towards this;
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple projects whilst working towards competing deadlines.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
