The company has significant investment partners, has developed a high performance and high accountability culture and has large growth ambitions in the Australian and APAC markets.
With several advanced hybrid (solar & BESS) development projects you will take the lead on the projects through early works (ECI) packages and work closely with the commercial team and other functions within a matrix structure to finalise contracts ahead of FID.
Key accountabilities
- Effectively establish collaborative relationships with key project stakeholders (community, landholders, network company, EPC contractor) ahead of construction
- Techno-commercial review of all construction contracts to ensure constructability
- Full accountability to lead the project through construction ensuring adherence to schedule, quality & cost and being the key interface with the EPC partner
The upcoming hybrid projects are a step change for the company and will be technically very complex. As Project Manager, you will be tasked with accumulating lessons learned and working closely with the project engineering teams to capture key technical challenges and optimisation opportunities.
Ideal profile
- Successful delivery as a Project Manager of a renewable energy or energy storage project through construction
- Experience working collaboratively with Transmission Network Service Providers (TNSPs) & an understanding of how to avoid major risks of energisation & commissioning phase
- Able to work effectively in a matrix structure and attain key information and support across multiple functions to deliver the projects initially to FID and then to practical completion
Above all you will bring excellent problem solving capability, thrive in environments with high ownership and accountability and have well rounded interpersonal skills to work well with colleagues and external stakeholders.
