About the role
Our dedicated national team of Workshop/ Road Service Mechanics play an important and essential role in our business.
Due to market growth in the business we are seeking qualified mechanics
As a Service Technician, you are expected to deliver consistent and high-quality service solutions to support our customers every day. This hands-on role will require regular travel to customer sites to perform all types of service requirements on a variety of forklift equipment.
You’ll enjoy the variety of the job that ensures your day is never the same. From the changing scenery of working on the road, to the different businesses and people you meet daily. One day you may be performing planned maintenance and attending emergency breakdowns, followed by another day where you could be performing a challenging overhaul.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Providing exceptional maintenance and repair services on the road for our customers forklifts and access equipment (up to 7 tonnes for light equipment & 10+ tonnes for heavy equipment) and other lifting machinery

Performing planned maintenance (PMP) and inspections

Carrying out repairs and troubleshooting issues

Overhauls
-
Assembling and commissioning new machines

Modifications
About you - ESSENTIAL

Automotive Mechanic trade certificate
-
Good customer service relationships

Team player – collaborate, adapt, and support those around you

Strong communication and attention to detail

Be able to work with minimal supervision

Must be reliable and punctual

Electrical and hydraulic experience
