What You Will Be Doing
The Health Promotion Practitioner is responsible for the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of health promotion initiatives, using a variety of actions including community engagement, social marketing, health policy and environmental strategies. You will be a valuable member of the Health Promotion Team that takes a place based approach to implement sustainable health promotion initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula community. The team utilises best practice and innovative approaches to deliver interventions with many done in a collaborative with key stakeholders.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
• Undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Health Promotion, Health Science, Public Health or related discipline such as dietetics or nutrition.
• Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and commitment to contemporary health promotion approaches, evidence-informed practice, systems thinking, innovation and size inclusive practice.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in health promotion planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships and work in partnership with a range of stakeholders.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Current Victorian drivers licence.

*Please refer to salary circular for Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2026 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
