This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled finance professional to lead a team and drive financial management, budget forecasting, and operational efficiency within the travel industry . Prior experience in travel finance is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a finance team , fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including team members, the Executive Director, and other departments , to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations specific to travel operations.
• Reconcile booking files and financial transactions using Tramada .
• Oversee accounts payable processes related to travel suppliers and services.
• Reconcile revenue streams from travel industry partners and suppliers.
• Prepare detailed business and financial reports utilizing Tramada and Xero .
• Lead budget forecasting and financial planning within the travel sector .
• Oversee company expense reconciliations and ensure financial compliance.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies related to travel bookings, commissions, and payments .

Skills & Knowledge:

• Previous experience in travel finance is essential.
• Strong knowledge and experience using Tramada and/or Xero .
• Expertise in financial management, accounting, and budget forecasting within the travel industry.
• Proven ability to manage a team and collaborate with executives and cross-functional departments.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with high-volume transactions.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a team-oriented approach.
