Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a finance team , fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including team members, the Executive Director, and other departments , to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations specific to travel operations.
- Reconcile booking files and financial transactions using Tramada .
- Oversee accounts payable processes related to travel suppliers and services.
- Reconcile revenue streams from travel industry partners and suppliers.
- Prepare detailed business and financial reports utilizing Tramada and Xero .
- Lead budget forecasting and financial planning within the travel sector .
- Oversee company expense reconciliations and ensure financial compliance.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies related to travel bookings, commissions, and payments .
- Previous experience in travel finance is essential.
- Strong knowledge and experience using Tramada and/or Xero .
- Expertise in financial management, accounting, and budget forecasting within the travel industry.
- Proven ability to manage a team and collaborate with executives and cross-functional departments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with high-volume transactions.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a team-oriented approach.
