ABOUT THE ROLE
The Steel Production Team Member will be working with steel materials in making external products for residential home projects. You will be working with rollform sheeting, corrugated iron and 5 Rib which is used for domestic and industrial roofing and cladding applications. Additionally, assisting in the production of domestic getters and fascia, roof ridge caps and flashings. All this and much more are produced on state of the art equipment and training will be provided so you can safely get the job done.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

Cutting and assembling steel sheeting for home and industrial products

Utilisation of various hand and power tools for assembly is part of the everyday and we therefore need someone who can and will safely operate and maintain equipment and machinery

Preparing orders for delivery

Have a very keen eye for detail as quality is just as important as quantity

High awareness of site safety and duty of care for your team, staff and site visitors

Finally have a ‘hands on’ with a 'can do' attitude
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
-
Previous experience working with steel or building materials or similar is preferred.

Proficiency in using a range of hand and power tools.
-
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
-
Demonstrated awareness and adherence to site safety protocols.
-
Hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
-
Forklift licence ( desirable )
