Ramahyuck District Aboriginal Corporation (Ramahyuck) is seeking a dynamic and values-driven General Manager - Health & Well-being to lead and strengthen its comprehensive health services across Inner Gippsland. This is a rare opportunity to join a respected Aboriginal community-controlled organisation committed to improving health outcomes and empowering communities through culturally safe, accessible, and high-quality services.

Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager - Health & Well-being will be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational management, and continuous improvement of Ramahyuck's health and well-being programs in Inner Gippsland. As part of the executive leadership team, this role contributes to high level decision making within the Organisation. You will work closely with internal teams, community members, government, and sector partners to deliver culturally appropriate services in primary health, mental health, and social and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities include: -

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams delivering health and well-being services
  • Drive strategic planning and innovation to improve service delivery and client outcomes
  • Ensure clinical governance, compliance, and quality improvement processes are embedded
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders and funding bodies
  • Contribute to organisational leadership as a member of the Executive Team

About You: -

You are a culturally responsive and strategic leader with a strong background as an executive or senior management in health or community services. You have demonstrated experience managing complex programs, leading diverse teams, and working collaboratively with Aboriginal communities. To be successful in this role, you will have deep understanding of Aboriginal health and the ability to lead culturally safe and person-centred service delivery coupled with excellent stakeholder engagement, advocacy, and communication skills. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in health, social sciences, management, or a related field will be well regarded.
