Description:
Casual position at a very attractive hourly rate of $60 per hour on week days and $90 per hour on Saturdays and $115 per hour on Sundays. Public holiday rates are more lucrative.
A position exists for 2 - 3 nights a week and 1-2 Saturdays per month (2 - late) With the potential for more for the right applicate. These hours are subject to change.
The ability to cook will be highly regarded. Must live within a 30 minute drive to Southport and have a bubbly and positive personality.
The right applicant would have to be able to travel on occasion, to help assist me whilst away.
I am a 50 year old motivated physically disabled individual who is a participant of the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), who is continuing to extend and grow my quality of life whilst trying to further my own business the "Burling Motor Group”. I am not your typical NDIS participant, I work 8 hours a day, 6 days a week.
I have a passion for motor sports, so someone who is interested in motor sports, or events of this nature, would be highly desirable. I am a very outgoing and sociable person, who loves getting out of the house and having fun, loves my music, movies and having a social drink
A Personal Assistant role has been created to assist myself in the day to day organising and planning of my life and social activities.The position is a great opportunity for an energetic individual, who likes to get out amongst it and have fun.
Attitude is everything in this role, you will need to be someone who is personable, sensitive, and has genuine empathy whilst still able to enjoy themselves and have a good time. This role may be best suited to a person who enjoys being sociable. I require someone happy to work autonomously, but not afraid to ask questions. Someone who is well presented is a must. Someone eager to learn and solve problems.

Job tasks and responsibilities:
To assist me in my day to day life activities. Additionally, accompanying me to social activities, i.e. bars, live music, motor sports, friend’s parties, BBQ’s, plus the occasional weekend travel.
Thus this position might be best suited to a single person, with the freedom to be able travel occasionally when required.
Working autonomously with self-direction and drive.
Working closely with myself as my personal assistant. Home duties (cooking, cleaning, laundry, filing) and assisting me in my daily activities which are required. The ability to be able to lift 20kgs (small mobility scooter). Attention to detail and great time management. Good phone manner.
Australian open driver’s licence, Full Police Check is a must.

Superannuation and sick leave are not applicable.
