MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT - TSM PROPERTY GROUP

TSM Property Group are seeking applications from highly motivated individuals who are suitably qualified to perform the role. The role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and supports the delivery of finance functions, including enhanced performance reporting, month end processing and budgeting/forecasting.

The position is full time. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Work collaboratively with directors and staff in providing the day-to-day financial services for the business.

  • Responsible for the preparation of Super, STP, Payroll Tax, BAS and Instalment Activity Statement and lodgement.

  • Accountable for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, ensuring compliance with tax laws and proper deductions.

  • Accountable for managing collections and following up on overdue client invoices to minimize outstanding receivables.

  • Responsible for monthly invoicing as and when required.

  • Use of online business banking applications and software, direct deposits, payments and transfers.

  • Responsible for the month end reporting from all systems on a timely basis, including collaboration with external advisors and directors

  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets together with external advisors and directors, ensuring alignment with the business financial goals, and monitoring budget performance throughout the year.

  • Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders regarding all finance matters and responding to financial queries

  • Supporting the Chief Operating Officer in the implementation of financial processes.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a similar role, including sound knowledge of financial practices to provide accurate and timely financial management reports and data analysis.

  • Demonstrated experience in the interpretation and use of data, problem solving and analysis.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to distil business requirements into understandable processes.

  • Must be adaptable and able to work with many different teams and systems.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, whilst ensuring strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet strict guidelines within established timeframes.

  • Positive approach to a continual changing work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CA/CPA qualified or working towards

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Demonstrated experience in providing management reports

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
